Re September trip report

Michele, I have been back home for five weeks now and hope to get around to posting my trip report soon. Life gets in the way. Plus the 1300 or so photos that need sorting through! We had a wonderful trip, enthralled by the beautiful scenery and ancient ruins. All our planning paid off, very good accomodation and we saw most of what we had wanted to experience, and more. We had very few hiccups, apart from my husband putting a whack in the rear bumper of the rental car when he reversed into a rock sitting in a car park! We are still waiting on our travel insurance provider to reimburse us.  Apart from about 4 or 5 rainy days, the weather was great, so I guess we were lucky in that respect, being there for a whole month. I have been dropping into the forum occasionally to see what's happening.
I am enjoying reading back over the information in books and on the forum and viewing it now from the perspective of someone who has actually been to Ireland. It's a wonderful feeling!

Regards,Meredith

Meredith,

Welcome home. You are right, life does get in the way! I have that same problem myself. We will look forward to hearing about your trip - hiccups and all - when you have the time.

Michele
