Hello All! Thank you so much for your posts--I'm happy to say that Michelle's book has arrived and I've had great fun reading. I'm very excited to go--I've booked my flights for $500 R/T. Incidentally, Patricia Farrell has retired from B & B but she has been very kind, offering to help me find alternate accommodations! Create a great day everyone! Kristinn

Glad to hear my book has arrived. I hope it gives you lots of tips for your trip. Which B&B was Patricia Farrell at? A lot of people are retiring, especially with the downturn in the economy. Some are easing out of the business gradually and others are going cold turkey.

But new places are springing up too.

Iverna Cottage--which was also highly rated in Alistair Sawadays Special Places to Stay...it looked very nice.  Instead we are staying nearby at An Caladh Gearr Thatched Cottage, which also came recommended from one of the other forum readers.  :)
