Short term leasing this summer for Student

Hello, I am a Student taking on an internship in Dublin this summer for approx. 6 weeks. I am trying to find a place to stay, but most all short term sites (daft.ie) only have availabilities right now. and I don't need it until June. Is there a place where I can book a reservation now for 6 weeks this Summer? I've looked into Letting, not sure what letting is, I think it's the same thing as renting but is seems as though you have to "let" for a couple months, not weeks. Also Hostels seem to only let you make a reservation for a max of 1-2 weeks. And hotels obviously for only a couple nights, otherwise you would have to sell a kidney to afford it. Do you have any advice for me on a place to stay, I know my internship is in Dublin 4, so I'm looking for somewhere around there, and not wanting to pay an arm and a leg, seeing as I'm a still a student. thank you for the help!

Eiffle,

The people at the school where you are interning should have some recommendations and help for you. Trinity College lets (rents) dorm rooms during the summer. Here are a few other self-catering rentals:

http://www.molesworthcourt.ie/

http://www.self-cater.com/

http://www.ocallaghanhotels.com/Apartments.aspx

http://www.ellisapartments.com/

Always contact the place you are interested in to ask questions about booking, length of rental, etc. Most places are flexible if you tell them what you need.

I hope you find just what you are looking for. We would love to hear back from you about your experiences in Dublin.

Michele
