Recommended pubs, fish chips, other inexpensive places to eat - leaving Mar 31?

First thanks to all for help, especially Michele.  We are leaving in two days - just thought I would try one last post for some info.  We will be staying in Kilkenny, Kinsale, Kenmare, Dingle, Doolin, Westport and would appreciate any recommendations for great places to eat inexpensively - we enjoy pubs, fish and chips and just about anything else - do not want to spend extravagantly.

If there is great music in any of the places, so much the better!  Do we need to tip in pubs and restaurants?

Pam

Hi Pam! Be sure and try Prego in Kenmare, cozy place, excellent coffee and food, in the middle of the block near JAM. JAM is okay.

Pam,

Two days! You are almost there.

Just off the top of my head (look for early bird menus):

Kilkenny: Lombardi's, Marble City Bar, Kytlers Inn, Bollard's

Kinsale: Dino's, Hoby's, White House, Jim Edwards

Kenmare: Prego, Foley's, the pubs inside Lansdowne Arms Hotel, Davitt's, Wander Inn, Jam

Dingle: Global Village, Apple Tree, Novacento, Murphy's

Doolin: McGann's, Fitzpatrick's Bar in Hotel Doolin, McDermott's,

We wish you a wonderful trip. Do let us know how it goes when you return.

Michele

Youngka & Rebecca,

Happy to provide the list. Pubs and early bird menus are the best low-cost alternatives.
