We had an amazing trip -- thanks for the tips, Michele!
Here are a few of our tips:
-if you are driving - get a sat nav (Irish for GPS!).  It was essential fro driving around the West.
-Greenmount House in Dingle is terrific.  Don't miss Slea Head Drive - and check out the ogham stone at Kilmakedar Church past Ballyferriter.
-Arlington Hotel in Dublin does a decent music/dance show a few nights a week - good for kids.
- Brazen Head in Dublin also has a Sunday afternoon trad session, which is good for kids.
In Galway:  there is a GREAT craft/food market on Saturdays near St. Nicholas Catherdral.... awesome deals on jewelry & great crepes.

Always happy to add my "two cents" worth! I am delighted to hear you had an amazing trip. And thanks for the tips. I can't wait to hear more. But take your time and get over the jet-lag first.
