I havent stayed at either property, but both get very good reviews on Tripadvisor.

My thought is -If you really want to stay at The Lake Hotel stay there. 50 Euro is really not that much when you think about the total cost of the entire trip.

Thanks! I think I will, I think it will be better accomodations for the three generation party! Plus my 12 year old can use there computer! The did come down in the price a bit when I advised of my dilema!

Did you get in on any "specials" from the Lake Hotel? Many places will give you B&B plus a dinner or two if you are staying multiple nights. Take a look at their website and click on specials.

Yes they gave us a 62pp rate which normal is $94 pp also they gave us one night compd dinner for the three of us! I asked and they obliged!

The room has a patio, and a refridge so I can have some left overs and snacks for dad and daughter! We will also have computer library and being my 12 year old is never without her cell phone the ability to email her friends at home will be a big plus when and if she is bored!

21 days and I'll be in Ireland!
