I.C.'s 09 NEW FACES / FAMILIAR PLACES PHOTOS

Here's the link to the pictures for our June 2009 trip:

Link to the Trip PLAN ---   http://ireland.activeboard.com/index.spark?forumID=65127&p=3&topicID=27973990

I haven't captioned any yet, but I chose to organize them differently, this year, in that they are grouped by topic or area, rather than just lumped together into one (huge) file, or sorted by individual day.

If some appear to be duplicates, it is because we used two different cameras -- a Canon Point and Shoot, SD 800IS (7 Megapixel) and an Olympus D510 DSLR with two lenses, with 10.1 Megapixel capability.

Hope y'all enjoy them --

Bob

Bob,

I had a look at your photos. Looks like you had a few days of good weather. Did you enjoy Gougane Barra? It is a place not a lot of tourists get to.

Your self-catering house looks very nice. Is that photo of the electric meter in the cottage? We want to hear more about it.

Did you have a second self-catering place? I see photos of other interiors. Westport?

These are my favorite photos:

Can't wait for the stories to begin. biggrin

Actually, we had mostly decent to good weather throughout. biggrin

The Foto link is to nearly ALL of my Ireland photos.  The Westport self-catering is from 2008 and the one of me with the bemused/confused look  confuse (though probably representative of MOST times) was taken in Dublin, in '07 or '08.

This was a return trip to Goughane Barra, having last visited in 2003.  The coin meter was also from a previous trip.  The purple flowers are decorating a railroad tie fence at one of my wife's cousins' house, in East Cork.

The 2009 pictures are in a Collection titled Ireland June 2009 (or something LIKE that) and consists of Sets titled:

Self Catering
Millstreet
Beal na mBlath
Killarney & Kerry
Cars & Misc
An Shrone
Clonmacnoice
Athlone Ennis & Midlands
Dublin
Gougane Beara

Bob, Welcome back! Haven't read about your trip, yet, or checked out your pics --- tomorrow for sure

JULY 14, 2009  Looked at your photo site and really like the arrangement of categories, very helpful - thanks.  Will be good to see when you add captions.  Nice to know where they are, so we can check them out on the next trip.  VERY good pics!  smile  youngka

Bob,

I looked at ALL the photos. Guess that's why I was confused. Must click on the proper link!
