Food Service on Trains?

My brother and I will be in Ireland in November and are planning a few day return trains trips from Dublin (Sligo, Cork, Galway) and were wondering if they have any kind of Food Service on Irish Rail?
I'm not expecting Dining Cars, but would there be a trolley service?

Most of the InterCity trains have a snack bar located in one of the cars that offers sandwhiches, drinks and snacks. Depending upon the particular train, SOME have a limited trolly service that comes to you.

The Irish Rail website has all the details.    www.irishrail.ie

Cost saving tip:  Buy your tickets ONLINE, even if only the day before.  We did a daytrip from near Killarney to Dublin.  Walk up price was 72 Euro EACH, but the online price was 84 Euro for TWO !!
