Loop head or Dooling pier boat

Hi All,
I have limited time at the Cliffs of Moher.  I am not interested in the Burren,  If you were going for the first time would you.

1.  Start early and do the Loop head Drive
or
2.  Do the boat ride along the cliffs from the Doolin pier?

And if we did the Loop Head drive, would a person also have time to do the Coast of Clare Scenic Drive?
