I think Kinsale has more to offer and thus I would spend more time there.

Hello to everyone! Although new to this forum, I'm not a newcomer to Ireland, having traveled there several times over the past two decades. Finding this forum is wonderful and I hope to be able to be an active member.

Regarding the question here, I would concur with Michele on Kinsale over Clonakilty. We stayed in Clonakilty last year, and aside from a couple of wonderful traditional music pubs, I found the town confusing, sort of without charm, and congested. With Kinsale, you have much more to do, some of the best cullinary choices in the country, and a wonderful setting.

Welcome to my forum! I am glad you found your way here. We look forward to your comments about Ireland. It is just starting to get busy here again on the forum after the holidays.

Good advice for Bronx. It is difficult making choices when you have never been before. Sharing our opinions helps others have better trips.
