As mentioned on my Car Rental page third party liability is included with all cars rented in Ireland. If you need more details you can phone Dooley.

Thanks, Michelle. I did read the whole thread on rental cars - it was quite a story! And I did call Dooley and they said liability was covered in the cost of the rental. When I asked what the limit was, she said the judge sets it. So, I guess we're as good as we can get! Thanks, Cherry
