RENT CAR WITHOUT CREDIT CARD?	Permalink

Hello to everyone! We are planning our second trip to Ireland in June 2011. We will be there for 3 weeks and would like to rent a car without a credit card. We have a Mastercard debit card and a Visa debit card. Has anyone rented without a credit card before? I have heard it is possible and we might have to put a deposit down, which is fine. We will also take out the full coverage. Last time we brought the car back with a hubcap bent and a chipped windshield. Lol. Loved driving those backroads! Thanks! __________________

Each car company has their own rules. You should start your research now to find one that does not require a credit card. I think they will be few and far between. If you can't find one it might make sense to get a credit card just for the trip. Good luck with your search.
