Dublin to Dingle and Dingle to Shannon

I've read a few books but too much info is confusing. What's the best way to get from Dublin to Dingle then from Dingle to Shannon airport and still see scenery along the way?

ljapple,

Welcome to my forum. What mode of transportation are you using?

Thanks for the welcome. Am flying into Dublin (4 days), but would like to use timely land transportation to get from Dublin to Dingle for a 3 day stay, then need to get from Dingle to Shannon to fly back to London.

ljapple,

Are you renting a car? Will you be taking public transportation such as buses and trains?

If it is bus (for dates in May)

Dublin Airport (Arrivals Road, Stop 1) departs 8:30/10:30/11:30 arrives Dingle 5:30p/7:20p/9:20p changes at Dublin/Limerick/Tralee Cost: E33 or less if student

Dingle departs 07:15/10:15/2:45p/4:00p arrives Shannon airport 11:55a/3:55p/7:55p/8:55p
changes at Tralee/Limerick Cost E20 or less if student

ljapple,

Thanks to Irrover for posting the bus schedule. Another option would be a train to Killarney and bus to Dingle. So with public transport there are options. If you are renting a car the advice will be different.

Thanks for the suggestions. Based on your help and further research, I will travel from Dublin to Dingle by train and from Dingle to Shannon by bus. www.buseireann.ie.

ljapple,

The train does not go to Dingle. You can take the train to Killarney or Tralee. From either place you must get a bus to Dingle.
