Temporary Closure of Skellig Michael Landing Tours!

According to the Official Website:   Skellig Michael | Heritage Ireland

"Due to a rockfall event on Sceilg Mhichíl today, Monday 13th June 2022, the Office of Public Works wishes to inform the public that the site will be closed to visitors until further notice.

There were no casualties as a result of this rockfall event, however, the island has been closed to allow for a full examination of the site and to clear debris.

It is intended that Sceilg Mhichíl will reopen to visitors once it has been deemed safe to do so."
