-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi again! I sure am glad that I found this site, you've been so helpful! Another question... We will be in Ireland for 2 weeks in July. One of our stopovers is in Waterford for 2 nights to visit with friends. Here is the delimma-We will be leaving Waterford on a Friday morning (in our rental car) and heading to Killarney. Our stops along the way will include Carrick on Suir, Cobh, and Blarney. We have b&b accomodations in Killarney that night and will be leaving the next day for Bunratty. We would like to take a jaunting car to see Killarney National Park, Muckross House & Garden, Kate Kearney's cottage. We would also like to drive the Ring of Kerry but were wondering if we had time for all of this. My plan was to do the jaunting car on the afternoon we arrived in Killarney from Waterford and drive the Ring of Kerry the next day on our way to Bunratty....of course, I know this isn't on "the way" but certainly a nice detour! Is it possible to fit these in these timeframes? I guess what I'm asking is...will we have enough time on Friday afternoon to see Killarney National Park and the jaunting car? We will leave Waterford early and just the stops mentioned above.

RE: Can It Be Done???
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello again ccsparks,
Glad to hear you are finding my site to be of help in planning your trip to Ireland. It is unrealistic to think you will have time for your jaunting car ride on Friday afternoon (more like evening). I assume you are stopping to see Cobh, The Queenstown Story and perhaps the cathedral in Cobh as well as Blarney Castle and the woolen mills? Not to mention the stop in Carrick-on Suir. It will take time to see these attractions and you have enough planned for the day. Why not just take your time and enjoy what you have outlined? Then on Saturday see the local sights in Killarney and then drive to Bunratty. Skip the Ring of Kerry - you just don't have the time available for it since it is an all day trip by itself. You will be much saner and happier doing less rather than more!
