Cork Ferries

I read in a travel book that there are ferries from Cork to Cherbourg but cannot find evidence of them anywhere on the web at any of the ferry sites. Do you know who runs the Cork-Cherbourg ferry? If there isn't one, do you know whether any ferries run to France from Cork?

Brittany Ferries goes from Cork to Roscoff in France: www.brittany-ferries.co.uk/ . Irish Ferries goes from Rosslare (Co. Wexford) to Cherbourg: www.irishferries.ie/ . Hope that helps with your travel plans.
