We’re trying to plan our itinerary to stay along the coast & out of large cities like Dublin. We have reservations at Bunratty Lodge for Day 1 & Day 12. We have made no other reservations – just plan to wing it. Here is the schedule we’re considering – of course we’re flexible.
Day 1 Bunratty to Cliffs of Moher (via Milltown Malbay & Lahinch). Then make the loop back to Bunratty (for a 5:30PM banquet at Bunratty Castle) via Kinvarra. Is this too much on the first day? We arrive in Shannon at 6:15AM & cannot check into the B&B until 1:00PM. Days 2 & 3 - Head to Dingle for 2 nights (as a base & then seeing surrounding sights). Should we drive from Bunratty to Killimer & take the car ferry over to Talbert or go towards Limerick & cut over to the coast? Days 4 & 5 - Kenmare (as a base & then seeing surrounding sights) Days 6 & 7 Kinsale (as a base & then seeing surrounding sights) Days 8 & 9 Youghal (as a base & then seeing surrounding sights). Days 10 & 11 Open for suggestions Day 12 End up at Bunratty Lodge for the last night (seeing sights en route).
We need suggestions for Day 10 & 11. We’re also open for other suggestions, as well. One other question – should we make the loop going to Dingle first or make the loop in the other direction, making Dingle our last stop? In advance, thanks for any input anyone has. We’ve poured over books & maps & everything is running together!!! (Michelle, we’re anxiously awaiting your new book – I know it’ll be a great help!)

Don't worry the book will be on it's way to you in March. It will be worth the wait! Now for your itinerary.
Day 1: SUGGESTION: Let the weather determine the day. If it is raining, etc. forget the cliffs and see Bunratty Castle and Folk Park instead. Jet-lag might determine what you do also.
Days 2: SUGGESTION: If you have not seen the Cliffs of Moher yet and it is a nice day go there first then take the ferry. If you have seen them skip the ferry and take the main roads to Dingle.
Days 10 & 11: Kilkenny.
Other than the comments above, your itinerary looks great as it is. It looks very relaxing, spending time in "home bases" and doing day trips. I think you will have a great time and I look forward to hearing all about it!
One comment about "winging it": on Friday/Saturday nights consider having reservations. Also if you decide to stay at one of the "special" places in my book like Sallyport House or The Lodge in Kenmare definitely book in advance. Glad to hear you have reservations with Mary Browne in Bunratty - her B&B is one of those "special places" that book up fast too!
