Hi Michele and friends,

Mom and I will be leaving in less than one month for Ireland. We have four days to spend in Dublin. We have several sites picked out and have decided to venture, via Dart, just outside the center.

We're considering Howth and Dun Laoghaire. We have time to do both, is it worth it?

What would be the deciding factors in deciding if we should do one or both?

Maggie,

Howth has a small fishing village vibe whereas Dun Laoghaire is larger and busier and more metropolitan. It is a major port. Both have cliff walks and Dun Laoghaire has a long pier you can walk out on.
