They have a journey planner you can use. Although they are currently showing 10 euro specials to Galway, when I input Dublin to Galway it came up with 26.40.

You will have to get from the airport to Heuston Station to get the train. You can either bus or taxi to the station.

I personally would opt for one of the express bus services direct from the Airport to Galway rather than getting to Heuston and catching the train. If you have to opt for the train then as Michele has said its bus or cab from the airport.
