Customs

Hi, again, everyone! Our trip isn't until July, and most of the planning is done, so now all that's left is the worrying as well as reading this website daily! The last time we were in the UK, we landed at Heathrow a week after 9/11. What a nightmare! We stood in line at customs for over 3 hours. This time, we are flying directly into Shannon. What kind of wait can we expect there? My husband has been there before, but not for a few years. Could those of you who have recently flown into Shannon let me know? Thanks a bunch!

No wait at all in SNN (Shannon). One of my favorite airports in the world! Been there a zillion times.

Hi Marsha,

Fly High is absolutely right. Perhaps a small line to get your passport stamped and then you are on your way. However, he has no frequent flyer miles - he was the one flying the plane!
