Choosing a special restaurant in Dublin

I'm trying to decide on a special restaurant for fine dining in Dublin. I have narrowed it down to L'Ecrivian, Patrick Guilbaud, The Tea Room and Peacock Alley. Does anyone have any feedback or opinion on which is the best for a special occasion dinner/
Thanks

Re: Choosing a special restaurant in Dublin

Hi Moonie,

They are all fine restaurants. Patrick Guilbaud has two Michelin stars and has won many awards. L'Ecrivain has one Michelin star and is recommended by many guides. Peacock Alley in the Fitzwilliam Hotel and The Tea Room in the Clarence Hotel are also well known. Unfortunately, they are all to pricey for my budget. Perhaps someone that has actually dined at them will let us know their opinion.
