Is the Torr Head drive signposted from A2? What's the name of the road? I have a michelin map, but it's not labeled.
How scarey a drive is it? Any sections of roadway that wouldn't allow for two cars to pass? I've done the Slea Head drive before and was fine with it and would like to try Torr Head if it's not too scarey.
It sounds like your trip is really shaping up. It has been a few years since I have done Toor Head Drive and I don't really recall if it was signposted. On the Michelin Map it is the green road from Cushendun that goes along the coast to Ballyvoy. I don't see a route number on any of my maps or atlases. I would suggest stopping to ask along the way and the locals will point you in the right direction (turn left at the white cow!)
I didn't think the road was that scary. There are some parts that may be single track, since there are minor roads that branch off that are not on the Michelin map. But I don't think there will be much traffic. Do it and enjoy the scenery. On a clear day you can see Scotland!

Re: Torr Head Scenic Drive It's signposted, but just go from Ballycastle through Ballyvoy and take a left just before the pub on the bend (you'll know it when you see it).
Make sure you stop off at Murlough Bay on the way round. And if you're very adventurous, drive the whole way down.
