Very Rough First Pass at Itinerary

I'm planning my first trip to Ireland from Jun13th through th 26th... I'm trying to sort out a 2 week trip that won't be too overwhelmed with driving times but that's proven to be rather difficult.

Here's a first pass itinerary... Any advice you might have would be great !

Mon: 13 June: Arrive Dublin 11am. Morrisson Hotel

Tues:14 June: Dublin / Morrisson Hotel

Weds:15 June: Newgrange (m.gibbons tour) / Morrisson

Thur:16 June: Drive to Kilkenny / See Glendalough and Wicklow along the way

Fri: 17 June: Kilkenny (any advice on where to stay?)

Sat: 18 June: Drive to Kenmare (stop at Midleton Jameson Distillery along the way if possible) Is this realistic? Stay in Kenmare

Sun: 19 June: Stay in Kenmare (Ring of Kerry)

Mon: 20 June: Drive to Limerick via Dingle Penninsula
(or anywhere someone suggests staying in this area)

Tues:21 June: Burren / Cliffs of Moher (any suggestions of where to stay) Galway?

Weds:22 June: Galway

Thurs:23 June: Drive to Ballynahinch Castle

Fri: 24 June: Ballynahinch Castle / Connemara

Sat: 25 June: Long drive across to near Dublin airport

Sun: 26 June: Fly back to Los Angeles

The only thing I have currently booked is my flight arrangements and first 3 nights in Dublin.

Does this trip sound realistic? The goal is to not be too overwhelmed with long driving times.

I am sooo happy I found this website... BTW, when does the 2005 edition of the book come out?

U2

Wow...

Okay its gonna be CRAZY...

Well I actually bought a couple of fan club tickets at an outrageous price (too much to admit) so I figure if I'm going to deal with the thousands of people I might as well enjoy the concert!

250,000 people? Well...it'll be an experience...

U2

Michael,

Great to hear that you are going to see U2 live. You will have to let us know how the madness goes. I think it will be a once-in-a-lifetime event.

Looking forward to hearing how crazy it was! Have fun.

Michele
