Ireland iPod app

Not something I use but I know some do. Ireland.com have created an iPod app which might be of some intrest. As I say I dont use the things so I can neither recomend or criticise the app but it's there if anyone feels the need to buy it.

Thanks Tony. I don't have that equipment but those that do will find it of benefit.

Since it was free, I downloaded the iPhone version. It has categories: Restaurants, Hotels, Hostels, Self-catering, B&Bs, pubs, entertainment and activities (golf, fishing, walking, tours). You can filter it by county. Northern Ireland is included. Most of it appears to be commercial content but there were (for example) directions for a coast line tour of Antrim, both driving and by public transportation.

A downside is that you have to be connected to the internet to access the content.

Fortunately wi-fi is becoming more common in B&B's.
