Bank holiday

We will be arriving in Shannon on Oct. 29th. As long as that weekend is a bank holiday will we have a problem finding pubs open for lunches or brews? We are on an escorted tour but will of course have time of our own to explore.

You will have no problems whatsoever finding all pubs open and going full blast. A Bank Holiday means a long holiday weekend for everyone in Ireland. Places like banks, schools, libraries and offices will be closed but everything else is open.
