Bob,

Welcome back! I've been so busy that I realized that I never wished you a Bon Voyage - and here you home again.

I see that you made it to Kilmallock. Did you go to the tiny museum? Hope you enjoyed it. I saw some blue sky peeking through. How were the villas at Adare Manor? From your pics it looks like they are maintaining them nicely. I saw them a couple of years ago when they were brand new.

Love the lamb photos! What sweet baby faces they have.

Can't wait to hear all about it when you get settled back down again.

Passed through Kilmallock about 5PM on Saturday, so the museum was closed. steaming.gif

That patch of blue was an optical illusion --hmm-- a rain shower chased us back to the car(s) and curtailed our visit to the ruins.

Adare Villas seem to be holding up nicely, 'though were I King o' the Manor, I believe I would extend the door overhangs and add better door mats -- the carpets looked to be in need of a light 'Touch Up' with a shampoo ... biggrin

The lambs were rather "Raw" -- they were in a field along side of Kilmakedar and seemed ENTRANCED by my wife.  Momma Sheep was a tad MIFFED! smile

Two of our party caught a touch of the 'Winter Vomiting' -- (If you've never visited an Irish Hospital, you might not 'GET' the reference ...  bleh bleh )

Only 64 days until we Return!!!!!  biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin

Thank you for sharing your pics, Bob! I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who takes pictures of my food and Guinness... wink

I'm not certain why, but I've found myself very drawn to that spot where the ruins of Kilmalkedar church are. It's a very interesting  congomeration of artefacts in that graveyard, isn't it?

Glad you're home safe and sound!

Bob - Great pics!  I leave next Friday April 22nd for Cork/Ballycotton.  I'm with Michelle, love the lamb pics.  Looking forward to getting plenty of wildlife photos while I'm there.  Even more excited now, after seeing your trip in photos.   Thanks for sharing!

Sally (aka Sambailey)
