We fly into Shannon early on 17 June and out 30 June. The Galway Sessions run through 19 June. Unfortunately the website is not yet updated for 2011. Does anyone have any information/experience to share? I have tickets reserved for Trad on the Prom on 22 June, our last night in Galway. Then, on to Westport, where the Westport Folk & Bluegrass Festival will be taking place 24-26 June.
The pub session list might not be finalised until the very end of May when most of the players have declared their intentions but there will be lots going on in the usual pubs and bars. Cant help with the Westport event as I usually avoid Bluegrass where possible, (we get enough of that in the local on Friday nights) but I would imagine the same conditions apply. Clifden trad fest is on next weekend and they have only just published the lineup!

Tony- the Westport Folk & Bluegrass festival site has been up and running. We are not going to Westport because of the festival, but it's on when we are there.
