It's me again - I was all set to book at Trinity Lodge in Dublin for our stay there but just realized the family room (for myself, my husband, and his dad and dad's girlfriend) is on the top floor w/no elevator. Unfortunately, my father in law can't handle that many stairs. Also, the hotel is getting mixed reviews on Trip Advisor. But I REALLY liked it's super central location (again to minimize the walking for my father in law).
Michele, I checked out your lodgings page and am waiting for your book to arrive in my mailbox but do you have any recommendations for a Dublin hotel as centrallly located at Trinity Lodge that is within the range of 100 to 150 Euro a night that might be better suited for my father in law? We are definitely not picky, just want to be sure we are as central as possible but not paying astronomical rates. A family room would be great but we are fine with 2 separate rooms as well.
As to the TA reviews, I am a regular on there and whilst many of the reviews are acurate there are unfortunately many which might be brought into question, either far too good or equally far too poor.

I've stayed at the Best Western Academy Plaza 2 or 3 times. They may be all booked up for mid June though. On hotels.com for when I am traveling they are $99 per night. Very convenient for the airport bus. It's the 1st stop and you are dropped off less than a block from the hotel. I looked at some mid summer prices and they were about $132. Again, those are $ not euros.
