I may do a 2 week helpex work/stay in Knightstown in July 2011. I want ot work to pay for room and board and soak in the locals, but I'd also like to see the area on very little money. Can I walk the island? Thanks!!
There is a bus from Killarney which will drop you at Caherciveen for the ferry across to Knightstown. I am sure if you contact your "Host" family they will give you full details.
