After hearing so much about the Bervie on Achill Island, I decided to try and I got a room for next Thursday.  We will stop there on the way to Donegal....a magical side trip.smile

Sounds like fun. I hope the weather cooperates so you can have a walk on the beach. Tell Liz and John hello from me. They have great banoffee at the Achill Cliff House Hotel across the road from Bervie.
