Letterkenney

Looking for accomodations in Letterkenney within easy walking distance to pubs with good music and food...prefer B&B's or small guesthouses/hotels.

Hi Tully,

I did a search and found a few that you can look up or ask others about. I didn't stay in any of these.  We're more self-catering type of family.

Check it out!  I'm sure there are more in that area.  Make sure you get Michele's book.  There is a great B&B there that she reviews.  It's called Pennsylvania house.

Good luck!  I'm sure you'll find something fabulous.  Make sure you send Michele your review!

Tully,

I answered your inquiry under your other posting about Donegal. Pennsylvania House is lovely and there is a fantastic new B&B called Glenrowan that I highly recommend. Neither is within walking distance of town. As I said in my other posting, sometimes the places near town tend to be older and less up to date. Some of them can be quite shabby. You will find exceptions to this rule. However, if you decide to stay at a B&B that is not within walking distance of town I would suggest just taking a taxi at night. For a few euro each way you can have a carefree dining and pub crawling experience without any worries.
