My granddaughter and I will be traveling to Maynooth in September to enroll her for her first semester of college there. We plan to spend 2 days in Dublin, to travel by bus to Galway for 2 days and then on to Cork for a day and night before returning to Manooth. We have no reservations yet, but need clean, low budget accommodations. We are considering the Ibis Hotel in Dublin or St.Judes B&B in Rathmines for our first nights. We have done little research beyond that for our other nights. Please help us. I ordered your book yesterday. How soon will I receive it?

I answered your other post about lodgings in Dublin. Since your granddaughter is enrolling in college have you looked at lodgings in Maynooth itself? I have not inspected any but you might want to consider them:
Ashford House is just off the old N4 now the R148 and just out from Kil**** is 10 minutes from Maynooth. There are a number of options in Galway and Cork but I would question the options especially Cork as you will spend an awfull lot of time on the bus between the two locations.
Thanks for your response, Michele. Yes, we did finally realize that we could stay at the university. I have tried to find out the cost of traveling into Dublin on the days we want to visit there, but I was unsuccessful. I know we take rt.66, from Dublin to Maynooth from a zillion points and that there are something over 60 stop between there but it is said it only takes 15 minutes. I didn't find out the fare, I'm barely computer literate. Kelsi will find out in a flash! Next question: Is there a university in Galway where we could stay? Did I understand correctly that you do not recommend traveling by bus to Cork? I'd like to visit west coast sights. What do you recommend?
Yes there is an excelent University in Galway but I don't think there is accommodation on a specific campus. Corrib Village is the student accomodation which is let out off term.
Cork is South coast not west coast. Galway is west coast and has easy access to the West Clare/Burren and Connamara coastlines. To get to Cork from Galway would be 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours by bus or train and 5 hours Cork to Dublin by bus or 3 1/2 hours by train.

The reason Tony suggests skipping Cork is that it is hardly worthwhile a whole day on a bus just for an overnight stay there. You would see nothing but what passes by the bus window. Instead spend your extra time in Galway. You can then take the train back to Dublin. There is plenty to do and see from Galway. You can go into the tourist office there and they can book many different tours for you:
Aran Islands Connemara Cliffs of Moher & Burren Boat tours from Galway
It is tempting to want to see it all in Ireland. But unless you have the luxury of lots of time you probably will have to stick with just a couple of places and enjoy them fully.
