Cottage

I recently purchased Michelle's book and am sleep deprived from planning my trip! This is so much fun! I am looking to rent self catering in County Kerry for 4 people. I need 3 beds since it will be for 6 nights. Bun Cill Atha looks perfect but only 2 beds. My mom and her best friend may not want to share a bed for 6 nights. I would prefer seclusion with a view, not too terribly far from town. We are more country/great view folks! Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Roo,

Ger Foley has several other self-catering cottages available with more rooms and beds: http://www.kenmarerentals.com/ Have you emailed him to see if it is possible to get another bed? That might be possible.

I also highly recommend Doire Farm Cottages. They are about a 10 minute drive to Kenmare. Two of the cottages have three bedrooms and enough beds for everyone. They have mountain views. Plus Anne is offering my readers a 10% discount.

What do you know about lavender lodge or seal rock cottage. Other than they are pricey? Thanks!

Roo,

I have not inspected them. One of my clients was thinking of renting Seal Rock Cottage but decided on B&Bs instead.
