Sept/Oct trip

Hi Michele

Our plans are long complete and we will be leaving for Ireland (7th trip) on Sept 19., mostly self-catering:

4 days in Killaloe - 'Sheena' - same house as last year

1 week in Killala, Co Mayo - Old Deanery - Thanks Michele and Bit for the tip

1 week in Roundstone - Roundstone Bay House

Oct 8 - ?????????????

Oct 9 & 10 - Temple Gate in Ennis

Oct 11 - fly home from Shannon

We deliberately left Saturday Oct 8 unbooked; we'll see how we feel and see what kind of weather we get. A few possibilites:

Cong, Ballinrobe (JJ Gannons), Inishmore (weather dependant), Roscommon (Gleesons), Athlone, Ballyvaughan (Logues, Hylands Burren Hotel, Oceanville B&B) Fanore, Lisdoonvarna (Wild Honey Inn), Ennistymon (Byrnes), Liscannor (Vaughans Anchor Inn) etc

If anyone has had a bad experience at any of these place, I'd like to know.

Thanks as always Michele for the help; your site makes planning a lot easier.

Stewart

Stewart,

Hylands Burren Hotel is currently up for sale. I don't know if that will impact service or not.

I know you are counting down the days now! Have a wonderful time. We are wishing for some good weather for your trip. Let us know how everything goes when you get back.

Bon voyage!!

Michele

Thanks Michele, knowing that Hylands is for sale will keep me vigilant. I did notice that some of their prices seem to have dropped recently.
