Thinking/ Planning a trip

Hi, we are thinking of taking a trip to Ireland in 2013. We would most likely leave from Boston Mass and we would like to do it in the off tourist season or maybe a shoulder season. Not sure exactly that is Stay for about a week maybe a little more in Dublin or a not so known area, we are up for an adventure. Stay in a BB and we would like a tour guide because we dont know very much about Ireland. We are looking for a kidda budget friendly trip but also want to have fun. We dont drink so we dont have to take the cost of alcohol into the budget. About how much would this cost? A round about cost of course.smile

avarin,

Welcome to my forum. It sounds like you might be looking for a guided bus tour of Ireland. With them you will know the costs up front. If you choose the right one your airfare, hotels, admissions, ground transportation, breakfast and most dinners will all be included in the price. You will have to pay for incidentals such as snacks, lunch, any dinners that are not included and tips.

I suggest you start by taking a look at CIE Tours and pricing them.  You can request a free tour guide at their website. They usually give a discount for booking well in advance. Some tours have senior discounts.

That will give you a ballpark figure for a tour so that you can start saving.
