HELP! JUST A QUESTION: I NEED TO FIND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE A BUS OR TRAIN FROM BELFAST TO DUBLIN AIRPORT ON DEC. 26TH AT 13.OOHRS MY FLIGHT WOULD LEAVE AT 15.00HRS IT SEEMS IT IS HOLIDAY! NO BUS EIREANN AND TRAIN APPEARANTLY AVAILABLE. HOW CAN I BE SURE FROM NOW TO HAVE A WAY TO DO MY TRIP?. I WILL APPRECIATE YOUR HELP. RICARDO ADRIAN MCQUADE

It is a holiday in Ireland. Have you already contacted bus and train companies to inquire about their schedules (if any)? If you go to my "Transport" page you can click through to their websites and email them. Also check on transportataion in Northern Ireland.


Are you staying at a hotel in Belfast? They may be able to find you some sort of transportation to Dublin. You will want to give yourself plenty of time to get from Belfast to Dublin and arrive at least 2-3 hours prior to flight departure.

Ricardo, I was going to suggest you hitch a ride on Santa's sleigh but I'm afraid you will miss it by one day.

Good luck with arranging your transportation.

I think Michele had a great suggestion about contacting your hotel in Belfast ahead of time for transportation help. When I was in Rome a driver I had booked myself didn't show up! The kind and efficient concierge (any competent person working at the front desk can help you) took charge, picked up the phone, and found us a new ride, and this was for an all-day driving tour, a total of 8 hours, but he had it all arranged in just a coupla minutes! I would contact them as soon as possible though.
