Rahinnane Castle, County Kerry

confuse  Does anyone happen to know the GPS coordinates for this castle? I know it is near Ventry, outside of Dingle. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Evidently it is on property owned by a farmhouse B&B. Here are directions: http://www.dingle-region.com/cadlocation.htm

Thank you both. We were thinking of staying with Jimmy Bruic atCoil An Rois again, but we might try staying right here as well.

You can never go wrong staying at Jimmy's. He is the definition of a warm Irish host.

A stay at Ard an Chaislean would give you a chance to sample Ailene's delicious breakfast and her homemade breads!

A plus to staying with her is that she does take Credit cards. Her children play usic sometimes, as well. All of the rooms are on ground level..No stairs made me quite happy!

It is a grand location for exploring the Slea's plethora of megalithic sites. You've free access to the Castle, mind the steps up to the second level...they are steep, tiny and narrow...

Make sure you stop by the Stonehouse Restaurant for a meal. You won't be disappointed, mo chara!

Bit,

Thanks for your personal recommendation. I've not been to Ard an Chaislean so having a first-hand account is appreciated.

Tell Jimmy "hello" from me. It has been a couple of years since I saw him last although we communicate via email.
