Floods in Clonakilty

Thoughts with the good people of Clonakilty, who were slammed hard by flooding last week.  We had a grand time there years ago and were surrounded by wonderful folks who made us feel quite welcome.

I understand the town's citizens have already pulled together and are well on their way to putting things back in order again, but this must have been quite the rain event.

Oh, my! That looks dreadful. Ireland has had a lot of rain this year. If anyone can pull through it's the people in Clonakilty. Nice town and I'm sure they will get it back to normal as soon as they can.

We were in Youghal when this flooding occurred. Parts of Cork City were affected as well.
