Bunratty to Beara

We are heading to the Beara tomorrow from Bunratty. Can anyone suggest a few sites to see along the way? Any suggestions is appreciated. Sheree

Bit short notice,, Adare is the usual lets see a chocolate box village. I prefer the coast road past Foynes and Listowel then Tralee, Killarney and Kenmare. This is not as direct route as Adare and Castleisland and it depends where you aim to start Beara and what time.

Thanks Tony! It is a bit of a short notice so thanks for your response. I do have a plan laid out as this trip has been a long time in the making. I just didn't want to miss a must see! I also prefer coast line views but since this trip is for my mom and her best friend, I am forced to do activities geared toward in city site seeing attractions. They get a bit stiff with riding and cold when the wind blows! We are staying on the Beara all week so I am in no hurry to get there today.

Sheree,

You are probably already on the road. A stop in Adare and Killarney would be good. Lots to see and do in Killarney.

Yes Michelle Adare is lovely but the drive itself was satisfying from Clare to Beara. We are having such a splendid time mingling with locals and finding our way around. My plans have had to change a bit as mom isn't able to do as much as I hoped. Unfortunately I will have to make a second trip to complete the first trip itinerary ;)

This might help for some points on Beara.
