Precisely, mo chara! Not too fond of the "nectar" myself... I can down a half but not a full...I much prefer uisce beatha biggrin

I did notice that in the first ten minutes of the video, they were serving up his pints without them having settled first...I suppose that was necessary for filming...but most bartenders won't serve an unsettled pint

I also noticed that even though his friend took a deep drink off the pint, the next frame showed his pint full...I want to go to a pub where my pints refill instantly...

I prefer the cider, myself :)

Do you suppose the pint glasses are related to the Dagda's cauldron that never runs out of food? :P

I did enjoy his tour of late night spots and the foods - from high end cuisine to late-night chippers. And that he seemed to talk to everyone!

I am now jonesing for my trip, which is still fluctuating. Now it may be down to 3 of us (from 9 at the highest).

The miracles of TV! I did notice the "unsettled" pints. They probably had a tight schedule and couldn't wait for a proper pint. Tony didn't seem to mind though. Smithwick's is my "usual".
