Planning another trip to Ireland.

Hello all! It's been a long time since I have posted. Life get's in the way of internet time, lol. Anyway, I am planing another trip to Ireland, and wanted to post my itinerary. Any feedback is appreciated.

This trip it will be my friend, his brother, sister-in-law, and myself. Our trip dates are April 19-28, 2013. This trip will be a lot like our last trip. We are going to many of the places we went before, because we want his brother and sil to experience some of the things we did on our trip last April. And we also really enjoyed our B&B stays in a couple of the places, and wanted to stay there again.

Day One- April 19- Travel Day

Day Two- April 20- We should arrive at the Dublin airport around 7:30 in the morning. The plan is to get our rental car, and head to Trim in Co. Meath. Grab something to eat, then head to the B&B. We are staying at the Crannmor Country Guesthous in Trim. After our first day experience last year (We arrived early in the morning, but couldn't check in the the B&B in Avoca til 2:00 that afternoon. We were exhausted and ready to kill each other), I asked the owner if it would be a problem checking in early, and she said that they could have our rooms ready by 11:00am, so we will rest for a few hours, then go to Trim Castle.

Day Three- April 21- We will head to Kilkenny and see Killkenny Castle. From here we will head to our next B&B, Ballyboy Farmhouse, in Clogheen, Co. Tipperary.

Day Four- April 22- We will go to Glen of Aherlow. I really can't find much to do there, but SIL want's to see the Christ the King statue there, and it looks like a pretty place. We will then go to Cashel and see the Rock of Cashel.

Day Five- April 23- We are going to Cahir to see Cahir Castle.

Day Six- April 24- We leave Co. Tipperary and head to Co. Wexford. We will go to Johnstown Castle and Irish Agri. Museum. From ther we will head to our B&B O'Leary's Farm in Rosslare. Love this place.

Day Seven- April 25- This is really an open day. Bro. and SIL may play some golf. Maybe a little shopping in Wexford Town, our maybe go to Kilmore Quay.

Day Eight- April 26- Leave Co. Wexford and head to Co. Wicklow. Go to Glendalough. Then go to B&B in Avoca, Ashton Gueshouse. This is a great B&B too.

Day Nine- April 27- Go to Powerscourt. Kinda play the rest of the day by ear.

Day Ten- April 28- Come home.

We are doing this tirp like the last one, not planing a whole lot, just one or two things a day. It made for a very relaxing trip. Also, if we find something else we want to see or do, we have the option to do it.

Again, feedback much appreciated. This board is so helpful in planing Ireland vacations.

Thanks,

Dawn
