Planning a return to Ireland Thanksgiving 2013

Its been 9 years since our family trip to Ireland.  it was a wonderful trip thanks to Michele and the members on this forum. our kids were 10 and 7.  Now my soon to be 20 year old daughter has applied to study abroad at Trinity College.  we should hear of her acceptance any day.  thinking very positivley we are planning to visit her for  Thanksgiving - her favorite holiday. Once we have confirmation I will be looking for some great advice for visiting Dublin! We never visited this area so it is all new to us.  its great to be back and planning another trip.  keeping my fingers crossed!

Welcome back. How wonderful that your daughter will be studying at Trinity College. There is plenty to see and do in and from Dublin. Meanwhile take a look at this website for some ideas: http://www.visitdublin.com/

hey sochermom,

If there any tips I can offer your daughter if she moves over just shout.

Im 33yr old femail living in Dublin with my husband and work near merrion square.

My american cousin was in Trinity last year doing stage design and she loved it. She even took up Irish for a semester!

Good luck with it all
