RE: Ennis or Doolin

Shawn,

Send an email to Applecroft. It seems like a nice place. Fairview in Killarney is very nice but parking is a problem since it is right in town. They have a limited amount of spaces and once they are full everyone else must park in the pay lot (very close). If you are up for a splurge try Earl's Court. It is lovely with antiques and four-poster beds. Also try Ashville Guesthouse.

You will have to phone Clooshmore as they do not have email or a website. Tell Eleanor you have my book as she is very picky about who she lets stay at her B&B.

Send your inquiries soon as 2006 is looking like a busy year in Ireland.

Thanks Michele.  The Ashville House looks very nice and is in our price range.  It seems to be better located than Applecroft in terms of getting into town too.  I noticed that Applecroft's parking is located blocks from their B&B as well.

Shawn,

Applecroft has parking right at their B&B. It is Fairview that has the parking problem.

Mark, thanks for the info on lager and ale. I'm going to print it out and hang it on our family bulletin board for son and hubby to read, I think they will also find it interesting. You never know what types of new mischief I can get up to, armed with such info...

If I go to Greene's, I will definitely give you a full report here on IrelandYes! I have to admit it sounds very relaxing to go to a pub close by our b&b in Ballyvaughan.

Take a look at Greendragon's trip report. Very nicely done!
