We survived our trip and had a blast! Everyone we met was so nice to us and the driving went great as well. I have a blog especially dedicated to our trip on my website www.larissasmuncy.com check it out if you want to. I have posted our funny stories and lots of pictures. We are planning another trip this coming May again. The weather was perfect while we where there! NOT A DROP OF RAIN and I was burning up the whole time! I should have left out the cold weather clothing for that trip, I certainly didnt wear any of them. We even stopped at Tesco and bought some cheap shorts because we ran out of clothes! Will be taking Ron's advice on upcoming trip and getting a throw away at TESCO to use for cell service. Ended up racking up a 400 dollar bill with ATT just using my phone for the bare minimum (young kids at home). Anywho! We stayed at Tir Na Nog B and B in Dualla, Cashel for our first 2 nights.....I still miss Tommy and Joan Maloney. Their hospitality and kindness still makes me miss Ireland! Read my blog if you time!
So you ran into the "heat wave" in Ireland. In over 40 years I've only encountered one or two. You were very lucky with the weather. I read your blog and enjoyed it.
Thanks again Michelle. And yes the heat wave was a wonderful blessing! I was so afraid of the rain before we left, but our b and b owners said that we brought the Kenutcky weather with is when we came! It was in the 90's back here in the states, so we definitly were not prepared clothing wise for the weather in Ireland. I packed alot of long sleeves and pants.... :(
