Has anyone ever hired a driver to escort them through part of Ireland? We are going in May for the first time with a group of 8 and wondered if getting a mini bus and a car with a driver would be the best way to get around and not have to worry about finding our way places.
Hiring a van and driver can be cost-effective when a group can split the cost. Some things to keep in mind when planning your trip are:
The driver will only work for a certain amount of time and/or mileage per day.
Because of this it is important to plan your itinerary carefully.
Always get a vehicle that is larger than the amount of people you have so you have plenty of room for luggage. Your car company will be able to advise you on that.
Let me know if you have any other questions about your trip.
