RE: Car rental in Ireland

Deductible is determined by car type --- primarily based upon Replacement Value.

Dooley's range runs from 1200 Euro (Ford Ka or Fiat Panda -- Group A), 1800 Euro (Most Economy, Compact and Mid-size -- Groups E, E2 F, F2, G, H and J) and 2200 Euro for Luxury, People Movers and SUVs (Groups I, K, W and Z).

Daily SUPER-CDI adds 15 to 22 Euro per Day.  Tire and Glass cover can be added for 5 Euro per day.

Assuming your quote is for an Economy class or above, but NOT a Full-sized, etc., my best GUESS is a Deductible of 1800 Euro.  If you opt to NOT purchase the SUPER-CDI, then Dooley will likely place a Hold/Deposit equal to the cost of the rental, the Initial Fuel charge AND 1800 Euro.  If you call their New Jersey office, they can provide you with the EXACT figures.

Rental from Dooley worked out fine using World MasterCard and letter from the bank. Easy pick up and drop.
