Love it! Do the boats run year round? Or maybe seas are too rough fall and winter?

Good Post as always.. Many are not aware of basic facts.. The Skeligs are weather dependent, boats generally leave @ 10am,(no rushing round from Dingle to catch one, Killarney would be an 8am start) return around 4pm.. That's 6 hours without a toilet break let alone a shop,, Good Footwear and waterproofs are essentials..

I have been and know I am not fit enough to go there these days. If you can't run up and down the steps in your house a few times then just watch the films and visit the Skellig experience on the mainland.. sorry..

That's on my bucket list now....provided I can get and remember to take the little medicated patches to put behind your ears to prevent sea sickness! That is the only thing that works for me and has about a 95% success rate based on my experience.

I definitely couldn't handle that...too close to the edge and too much of a drop!

The Skellig visit has been on my radar for a few years, now. I'm beginning to think that ship may have already sailed, though . . .

If I don't make the effort in the next year or so, I may not be capable, beyond that.
