self catering / cottage suggestion for 2 days??

Finding a self-catering place for such a short-term during August could be very difficult. I've rented apartments in Killarney (April of 2012 and June of 2014), as well as in other locations throughout the last few years, but I've never found a place that would allow less than a four-day rental during High Season.

How many bedrooms? How many people will you be preparing food for?

only my wife and myself. I don't mind another type of rental... it's just that we could use access to a table to eat our meals, and would like to be easily on foot to sites for that saturday. Any help would be appreciated!

Try Kenmare Rentals Holiday Homes if you want to have close access to that town. If you don't mind being more rural and a short drive to town Doire Farm Cottages are excellent. On your other post Bob has recommended a couple of places in Killarney.

There are a number of Hotels that have self catering attached or as above have apartment rooms. For Killarney you could consider Park Place Apartments. For Galway the Raddison Blue might be the closest option for the city.
