We stayed with KCC last year on Valentia Island at the Ring of Kerry and had a wonderful time there.

Took  some time to choose from the wonderful cottages they offer from Derrynane over Waterville and the Glen (Finians Bay) to Valentia Island.

We decided to stay at Cool East and that what it was.

Wonderful views from the sunroom over the sea to the Blasket Islands and Dingle as well as the Skelligs Island on the other site.

The cottage had three bedrooms a Living room open plan kitchen and dining room and a sunroom.

Friendly and good service by the caretaker.

All in all a good alternative to a B+B and place away from it all.

For dining we drove to Portmagee to the Bridge Bar which offer good Bar Food or to Caherciveen with several restaurants.

We have already planned or next trip in April 2016
