We will be arriving via West Jet at Dublin Airport Terminal 1 at 7:18 AM and are thinking of flying on to Kerry Airport in Farranfore via Aer Lingus (Stobart). That flight departs from Terminal 2 at 11:25 AM. I have very limited (not all happy) experience with Dublin Airport. Does this 4 hours sound like a reasonable time between flights at different terminals assuming there are no significant delays from Canada. My wife and daughter ran into some issues last year connecting in Frankfurt.
As I have already said, I am very disappointed that we cannot easily fly from Canada into Shannon.
thanks

You have to be at the gate at least 30 minutes before departure so that 4 hours becomes 3 1/2 but provided you land within reason of schedule 2 1/2 hours to get through the Airport should be fine.
Edit. Remember that your Baggage will be limited to the allowances on the local flight.

Provided there are no glitches and your flight arrives into Dublin on time you should have plenty of time to make your connection. I agree that Shannon is best. You will have time for your first Irish breakfast of the trip at Dublin Airport.

Good advice from Tony! I think the only concern would be the checked luggage policy of the airline between Dublin and Kerry. You might also check about clearing Customs as Dublin would be your port of entry into the EU (European Union) and if you have to clear your luggage and take it to the connecting airline to check-in. Not sure if there have been any updates on that but you might want to look at the Dublin Airport website to see if you can get an answer. Ideally it would be wonderful if you could check your luggage through to Kerry Airport from your Canadian airport. Worth checking out. Hope the above helps.
Eddie Stobart started business in Agriculture and bought a wagon to get the waste biproduct that could be used for fertiliser from the local steel works, that was back in the early 60's. One wagon turned into 1000's. "Steady Eddie" went from Farmers son to having the UK's largest Haulage and Logistic company. He died in 2011 but the company is still growing with his son's involved in running it. He got into Air freight buying Carlisle Airport in the UK. They now have a big depot in Dublin mainly servicing Tesco Supermarkets who they have the distribution contract with in the UK.
